Each MIXMY Primary Candle comes presented in a beautiful, bespoke glass container.
The true magic of MIXMY fragrances comes alive when multiple MIXMY Primary Candles are combined to create new Scent Destinations™.
We felt the traditional cylindrical candle container was not best suited to our unique COMBINE TO CREATE concept, so we spent three and a half years designing, perfecting and producing our own unique MIXMY glass. The result is a beautiful, cube piece of glass, which encases the soft curves of the candle within. The flat external surfaces allow our COMBINE TO CREATE concept to really come to life as multiple MIXMY Primary Candles can be arranged side-by-side, creating a statement piece for your home.
Our MIXMY glass is made using a semi-handmade process which means no two pieces of glass are the same. Small air bubbles and other such features are part of the production process and reflect the fluid nature of bespoke glass making.
Whilst our bespoke glass is completely recyclable, we offer a range of Primary Candle Refills so our glass can be reused time and time again.
How to refill & reuse
To prepare your MIXMY glass ready for reuse, place the glass in the freezer for at least an hour until the residual wax becomes brittle, then push one side of the residual wax pool to release the wick and wax from the glass in one piece and discard.
Clean the glass using warm, soapy water and a soft cloth. Harsh cleaning products should not be used.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT use cutlery or anything sharp to remove the wick or wax, and DO NOT use anything abrasive to clean the glass, as this can mark the internal decoration.
Recycle
Although we recommend you refill or reuse your MIXMY glass container, MIXMY candle glass is 100% recyclable as long as you clean the glass by removing the wick and any remaining wax.
The best way to do this is to place the glass in the freezer for at least an hour until the residual wax becomes brittle, then push one side of the residual wax pool to release the wick and wax from the glass in one piece and discard. You can then clean the glass using warm, soapy water and a soft cloth (no harsh cleaning products!).
