Scent Destinations™ are the unique aromatic destination you create by pairing two different MIXMY Primary Fragrances – either by burning two different Primary Candles together, or combining two different fragrance oils in one diffuser vessel.

Each Primary Candle has its own beautiful fragrance, so why create a Scent Destination™? 

We all have that one favourite candle we go back to time and time again. But what if your mood is different today or what if the weather changes and that cosy-night-in candle doesn’t quite suit the mood of a hot summer’s day? What if you want to change the mood in your home and transform it from work space to entertaining space? 

MIXMY candles have been specially created to give you a palette of fragrance combinations to tailor-make your home fragrance depending on your mood, the occasion or the weather. Simply burn two or more Primary Candles alongside each other to create whole new Scent Destinations™.

HOW IT WORKS?

Take 1. SOFT / FLORAL for example – an intricate and enduring floral fragrance, and add 2. BERRY / GREEN – an elaborate fusion of green leaf and earthy fruits. By burning the two candles alongside each other, you create the Scent Destination™ of #EarlyMorningEnglishGarden.

As night draws in, you could swap 2. BERRY / GREEN for 5. WOOD / SMOULDER, with its smoky blend of wood and leather, and completely change the mood with our #PolynesianNights Scent Destination™.

So rather than the lighter, fresh fruity and floral notes being mainly limited to the warmer Spring/Summer months; and the heavier spicy and woody notes dominating the Autumn/Winter months; MIXMY fragrances have been created to be used alone and smell incredible, but they can also be paired with each other to create entirely new fragrances, meaning both the lighter and the heavier fragrances can be used year round, and allows you to really personalise and tailor-make your home fragrance experience.

Early Spring is the time to open up the garden. Our walled terraced garden is very much an extension of our home, allowing us to throw open the doors and move the entertaining outside.

Power-washing the paving is my love-hate Spring job. I hate doing it, but I love the way it transforms the outdoor space… although it’s not been too bad this year as I did a second power-wash at the end of the Summer.

A few years ago, I had some covers made for the garden furniture and the outdoor kitchen - I was sick of the normal outdoor covers blowing off and not being 100% waterproof, so I had covers made using robust, waterproof yachting fabric, and they’ve been brilliant… but it’s time they’re packed away and the furniture comes out of hibernation. Let the outdoor living commence!
